Angles
An angle tells you how far you turn. You measure it in degrees, give it a name and calculate with fixed sums such as 180° in a triangle.

Why
How far do you have to turn your bike's handlebars to go round the corner?
You turn things all day long: a door that opens, the hands of a clock, a skateboarder doing a half turn. An angle puts a number on how far you turn.
You can calculate with that number too. If you know two angles of a triangle, you know the third straight away, without measuring.
